As reported earlier this week on KDWA, here’s an update to the passing of St. Philip’s Lutheran Church’s Senior Pastor Rev. Ed Frederick. Pastor Ed passed away early Sunday, June 1st, peacefully in his sleep at his residence, after a long battle with cancer. He was diagnosed with lung cancer, which spread to his brain. The St. Philip’s congregation was very close to Pastor Ed, and on the Saturday prior to his passing, he got to witness an act of kindness by a few of the many hearts he touched. Interim Senior Pastor, Ralph Olsen, talks about what happend that Saturday.
