On Thursday, August 21st the Primary Election vote recount took place at 9am at the County Administration Center in Hastings. The recount was requested by Terry Donnelly, who lost by 11 votes. According to the Dakota County Voting Office, the results of the recount were exactly the same as the original count of Mike Slavik with 1940 votes, Mark Henry with 640, and Terry Donnelly with 629. That means Mike Slavik and Mark Henry will be opponents in the General Election on Tuesday, November 4th.
