Primary Elections were held on Tuesday, August 12th, and the results showed an 11 vote difference between Mark Henry and Terry Donnelly, with Mark Henry leading. After the votes had been canvassed, on Friday, August 15th, Terry Donnelly submitted an offical request for a recount. For Primary Elections candidates have 5 days after the canvassing board has met to submit the request. So, on Thursday, August 21st the recount will take place at 9am at the County Administration Center in Hastings.
