With temperatures forecasted for the 40’s and maybe even the 50’s next week, the outdoor skating in Hastings is pretty well over. The rinks will stay open until they begin to melt, but the warming houses are closed for the year. Hastings Parks and Recreation Coordinator Phil Vargas joined KDWA Sports on Wednesday to explain the situation.
