Farmington Man Killed In Snowmobile Accident

A Farmington man has died after crashing his snowmobile in northern Minnesota. 53-year-old Steven Rahman was killed Wednesday around 7:30 p.m. when he was driving too fast to make a turn and went off the trail, striking a tree. Rahman had been traveling with four others on the Taconite Snowmobile Trail southwest of Tower. The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office said, despite wearing a helmet, Rahman was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
