Pavilion Ribbon Cutting

The grand reopening of Levee Park with the dedication of the Rotary Pavilion was the place to be on Thursday afternoon with hundreds gathered for the ribbon cutting and official recognition for those who have made it possible to spend a perfectly lovely late afternoon along the mighty Mississippi. Mayor Hicks addressed the crowd perched along the stone amphitheater tiers with equal parts pride and accomplishment as the area filled with local residents, visitors and dignitaries of all kinds.
