The Prescott Cardinals Football Team opened the 2016 Season after a four hour trip to Rhinelander, playing well at times defensively, but couldn’t get the offense going until the 4th quarter, in their 27-8 loss to the Hodags. Senior Bo Smith scored his first varsity touchdown late in the fourth quarter, for the lone Prescott score. KDWA Sports will have more with Head Coach Matt Smith at Saturday’s 2016-17 debut of the Prescott Coaches Show from Ptacek’s at Noon, and also in Monday’s Sports Updates. The Cardinals will travel to fellow 0-1 squad, Saint Croix Falls, next Friday at 7:00pm.
