Daddy Daughter Dance Preview

The Daddy Daughter Dance was a highlight of the weekend, with nearly 300 pairs of little Belles, Cinderellas, Jasmines and even a few dapper Beasts strolling down the hallways of the Hastings Middle School to be met by a bevy of Princesses , games , prizes and treats. The event is hosted by the Community Education Department, the YMCA and a large group of volunteers who made it possible to celebrate the Be Our Guest Theme. Daughters sported Princess dresses, shiny shoes, ribbons and giant smiles accompanied by dads who treated their little girls to dancing , desserts, and some together time. Organizers who decorate the gyms, coordinate the volunteers and usher in the guests were all smiles too. We’ll feature some of the voices of daughters and dads coming up in our newscasts.
