On Thursday night, May 18th, at approximately 10:30, a vehicle travelling south on Vermillion St, at 4th St., struck a parked car causing the parked car to roll onto its side and then onto the sidewalk as it hit two more parked cars. Hastings police closed southbound Vermillion St for about 45 minutes between 3rd St and 5th St. The driver was cited for failing to drive with due care resulting in an accident. The occupants were shaken but not injured. There was no estimated damage to the parked vehicles , which were parked on the side of the street.
