The City of Prescott has mailed a short survey to all Prescott residents seeking input on two proposed public bus routes. Residents are encouraged to look for the survey in their mail this week and to respond by entering your response on the city?s website at https://www.prescottwi.org or by dropping off your response to the Prescott City Hall or at the Prescott Public Library – 800 Borner St. by December 20th 2017. According to Steve Sizemore, who is coordinating the effort, Potential Community Impact Public Transportation may impact affordable transportation options for the city, create more local jobs, and support the continued development of the downtown businesses by providing transportation related employment opportunities. He notes that community input is critical as the city begins feasibility assessments.
