A full season of events have been scheduled for Veterans Memorial Levee Park along the River in Hastings. Programming for Fitness, Movies, Music, Art, and Youth activity are slated to get underway on June 5th with the Summer Kickoff Celebration that will take place from 5:30-8PM. All programs for the schedule will take place at the Rotary Pavillion. The programs featuring music, movies and youth activites are free with some of the fitness and Art offerings provided on a fee-based schedule.
There will also be 2 additional special events, with Make Music Day on Thursday, June 21st from 7am until 9:30 pm and a Party in the Park to be held on July 26th, to coincide with National Parks and Recreation Month. The New Riverside Ramblers will perform at that evening event. A full list of the events can now be found in the Community Events section of the KDWA website.
