Tuesday May 15th is the deadline for 1st half of property taxes to be paid. In Dakota County, the Dakota County Government center south entrance leads to the Treasurers’ office on the main level. Checks can be made to Dakota County Treasury and Taxation. They must be received by the close of the business day on the 15th. You can also mail your provided blue envelope to your county treasurer as long as the postmark reflects the May 15th deadline. The Hastings Post office lobby closes at 5 PM.
