It has been reported that senior citizens in Hastings have been receiving phone calls regarding Medicare coverage. A local insurance professional explains.
She also said the caller tries to arrange a meeting at the person’s home to provide information on current changes to Medicare.
If anyone receives such a call, do not provide any information over the phone. Medicare does not use a phone contact system, and forbids any associate from saying they are from, or are endorsed, by Medicare. If you receive such a call, hang up and call police.
