One Killed In Pierce Co. Accident

On Saturday, September 7th, 2019, at approximately 6:21 PM, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a fatal single motorcycle crash on 290th Avenue east of 970th Street in Hager City. According to a press release issued by the PCSO, it was determined that 44-year-old Eau Claire resident Allen Minaker was traveling eastbound on 290th Avenue near 970th Street on his motorcycle, when he failed to negotiate a curve and entered a wooded area on the north side of the roadway. Minaker was ejected from the motorcycle. Pierce County Medical Examiner John Worsing pronounced Minaker dead at the scene. The Red Wing Ambulance Service, Red Wing Fire Department, Ellsworth Fire Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol assisted the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office on the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol and the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
