On Friday, more than 100 7th grade students from Hastings Middle School traveled to St. Paul to tour the State Capitol. State Representative Tony Jurgens was there to greet the kids, and provide them with a tour of the Minnesota House chambers and explain how the legislative process works.
Jurgens said he considers meeting with local students every year is one of the best parts of being a state lawmaker.
