The Prescott Parks and Public Property Committee met for business on Monday evening. Among the agenda items was discussion of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Multimodal Local Supplement grant. The Committee opted to write a grant for the trail along the riverfront, the underpass under the railroad, the trail along Second Street to Broad Street, and from Broad Street along Highway 35 to Freedom Park. According to the meeting minutes, the grant needs to be written by December 6th, and Cedar Corporation will write the grant for the city at the cost of $1,000.
