With larger Memorial Day events being curtailed around Hastings, the tradition of placing flags and standards on veterans graves at Lakeside Cemetery will continue. This year, the cemetery board will be without their number one organizer, Pete Mollick, who passed away earlier this month after a short battle with cancer. KDWA talked to Sharon Bauer of Lakeside Cemetery about their tradition of placing flags for Memorial Day.
