Explorers Represent Dakota County

The Dakota County Sheriff’s Department participated in the 41st Annual Minnesota Law Enforcement Explorer Association State Conference. Twenty members of the local squad were divided into six teams for the competitions in Academic, Skills Based, and Tactical categories. Softball Wins, Baseball Falls On Tuesday

Tuesday afternoon, on the diamonds of Hastings High School, the Hastings Raiders Girls Softball Team used a Rachel Reinke walk-off hit to beat Simley in come-from-behind fashion, 6-5, while the Hastings Baseball Team (pictured) dropped a tough 6-4 conference loss to Mahtomedi, at Grossman Field.
