Vermillion Township Fire Damages Business

On Monday, April 24, the Hastings Fire Department responded to a fire underway in a commercial building on Hogan Avenue in Vermillion Township. Former HFS Director Has Died

Friends in Hastings were informed that the former Executive Director of Hastings Family Service, Janet Nielsen Gratz, passed away in Tucson Arizona, on April 18th. Gratz was a mathmatics teacher before taking the top position as head of Hastings Family Service from twenty years, beginning in 1984. A longtime resident of Hastings, Janet was a …
