Here’s an Update to the house fire earlier reported by KDWA. On Monday, June 9th, at 4:03pm the Hastings Fire Department arrived on scene of a garage fire. Upon arrival, fire fighters were met with heavy flames in the garage and also into the walls of the house. The flames went through the door connecting the garage to the house, spread to the second floor of the home, and finally to the attic. No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries to the fire fighters. The cause of the fire is still undetermined, but it did originate in the garage.
