Roads for the Riverside Company buses were drifting, but the long trip to Omaha, Nebraska this past weekend was well worth it as the Hastings Varsity Show Choir brought home good news from the Westside Competition of Excellence. Lin Warren, director of the ensemble, told us how high the bar was set for this competition.
Performing last in the finals, Warren continues with the results.
The next performance for Riverside will be as hosts of the Swingin on the River Competition held at Hastings High School on Saturday, February 21st. The event, which is the major fundraiser for the program invites the community to enjoy performances of more than 15 area choirs as well as all three of the Hastings groups.
