Dakota County Hosting “Crops Day”

Dakota County is hosting the 9th annual “Crops Day.” The event will bring university and agency specialists together with the public to share local research results and crop management strategies with producers and other agricultural professionals. Topics this year will include: fertigation, in-season nitrogen management, cover crops, energy conservation, weed control, and irrigation well permitting and groundwater sustainability. Crops Day will be held Wednesday, March 18th, from 9:00am to 1:00pm, at the Dakota Electric Association in Farmington. This event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided.
