The Hastings City Council held a public hearing and a second reading of an amendment to city code pertaining to golf carts and ATV vehicles. City Attorney Dan Fluegal explained the ordinance changes.
Fluegal also responded to a question from the public asking if licensed drivers could use the vehicles in the event of high water.
The council voted unanimously to pass the amendment.
