YMCA’s Glow Run Takes Place July 16th

The 2nd annual YMCA Hastings River Glow Run will be held on Thursday, July 16th with the 2K beginning at 7:30pm and the 8K starting at 8:30pm. Both races will begin and end at the Y. All proceeds from the run will benefit the Hastings YMCA’s annual campaign supporting youth development, healthy living and social responsibility in our community. Entry fees range from 20 dollars for a single runner to a maximum of 60 dollars for a family. Registration can be completed online at www.hastingsareaYMCA.org or stop in to the Hastings YMCA. Runners and walkers of every ability are encouraged to participate in this event which will also include glow in the dark paint, arts and crafts, photo booth, obstacle course and music. Awards presentation will begin at 9:30pm. The top 2 male and female finishers in each age category will receive awards. Awards will also be given to all kids who participate in the 2K event.
