At the Monday Hastings City Council Meeting, the Council unanimously approved the proposed name change to the East Rink of the Hastings Civic Arena to “McGree East Rink”, honoring longtime newly-retired Arena Manager, Hockey Coach, Parent, and Raider Supporter Jim “Sliver” McGree (far right).
