With the end of the summer at hand, it’s time for the Pierce County Fair. The 132nd Annual Fair opened Thursday and will continue until Sunday with gate charges of $5 for those 8 and above. Children 7 and under are free. Some of the highly anticipated events include the Tractor and Truck Pull in the Grandstand tonight, The Buddy Holly Tribute show, which takes place several times during the weekend, The Demo Derby on Saturday Night and the Horse Pull at 12:30pm on Sunday. The Pierce County Fair takes place in Ellsworth.
