Washington County PD App

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office announces the release of their new mobile application. This is the first stand-alone mobile app of its kind in the area specifically related to a law enforcement agency. It differs from other apps that house many different agencies, such as MyPD. The Sheriff’s Office has been working for over two years with a California company, CloudspaceMobile, to develop the app. Currently the application is available for all mobile devices and tablets on the Apple and Android platforms, via the Apple App Store and Google Play. They hope this will be another useful tool to add to their broader community engagement effort. There will be the availability to commend an officer, provide tips, view their other social media platforms, contact Sheriffs Office personnel, view cold cases, get your questions answered and more. They are still working to have daily book-in reports and press releases in the app as well.
