Hastings PD Calls

In news from the Hastings Police Department, several arrests were made last week in the city including that of 32-year-old Robert Thomas Gommer, a resident of Hastings, who was charged with 2nd degree assault with a dangerous weapon, that reportedly a knife, in the early morning hours of Sunday, the 27th. Later in the week, 63 year old Kenneth Warren Kusske and 34-year-old Lee David McNamara, both of Hastings were arrested following a call to Hastings police. Both men were charged with disorderly conduct with McNamara receiving an additional charge of damage to property. Calls were also made for officers to investigate a woman who attempted to purchase over $2000 worth of cell phones from Walmart. Erin Christman of Lanham, Maryland was arrested for fraud by theft. A local fraternal organization reported proceeds missing from their coffers last week. Hastings Police were dispatched to the Eagles Arie 2212 on Thursday, September 24th on a report of $300 worth of missing BINGO funds from the club. The theft is currently under investigation.
