Hastings Police and Fire Departments responded to a fire in a townhouse on Rose Way on the west end of Hastings on the evening of Monday, September14th. There were no people in the home at the time but Hastings Fire Chief Mike Schutt reports crews did find a family pet trapped inside.
Fire crews extinguished a fire in the kitchen of the townhouse before it could spread to adjacent dwellings. The fire did cause extensive damage to the home.
