Law enforcement invited the media to a press conference on Tuesday as they announced the results of a sex-trafficking sting with 6 arrests of Minnesota men charged with attempting to purchase sex from a juvenile. The press conference featured Dakota County’s James Backstrom who outlines Operation Guardian Angel.
Also speaking at the event was Hastings Police Chief Bryan Schafer who addressed the scope of the operation.
Also in attendance at the press conference were the ministerial association, which aided in the development of Operation Guardian Angel. Pastor Paris Pasch from Hastings Christ Family Church told us how faith-based groups are addressing this issue.
