Prescott Police Officer Attacked

A Prescott man has been jailed for attacking a police officer. 21-year-old Trevor Lee Leyde was booked in to Pierce County jail after he allegedly showed up while intoxicated at the home of a Prescott police officer and attacked him on the evening of September 12th. Leyde fled from the scene and after injuring himself in a fall was later apprehended in the woods close to the Holiday station by pursuing police officers. Leyde was charged with felony physical abuse with intent to harm and battery of a police officer
