Quarterly Financial Update

The Hastings City Council received a quarterly financial update of activity through June 30th of 2015 at it regular meeting last Monday. Among the significant items of note, ambulance revenue is above prior year but below budget year-to-date, salaries and benefits expenditures are below budget year-to-date due to staff vacancies, building permit revenues exceed prior year-to-date amounts, capital purchases are on track to be completed by year-end, and interests on investments year-to-date are on pace with budgeted expectations.
