The menu of national branded fast food chains located along Robert Street in West St. Paul will soon include a Chik-Fil-A. The popular eatery will build in what is now the parking lot of the city’s Target store located between Marie Avenue and Lothenbach. West St. Paul’s economic director Jim Hartshorn announced that construction permits have been finalized and that the community should expect a Spring 2016 opening. The national chain has 8 stores in the Twin Cities area and the website suggests more may open in Minnesota in the near future. The store will join a long list of food establishments including Panera Bread, Panda Express and Perkin’s Family Restaurant that line the streets of this city’s main traffic throroughfare.
