MN Department of Health Finds Anomalies in Colleges Testing

More than 500 nursing assistants certified by Inver Hills Community College will need to be retested according to the Minnesota Department of Health. Investigators from the Department of Health found “evidence of anomalies” that raised red flags about the reliability of tests administered by the college’s Center for Professional and Workforce Development and its satellite operation at Blue Sky Online between May 1, 2014, and Oct. 16, 2015. Health department officials initiated the investigation after noticing a suspicious pattern in test results. Testing at both locations has been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.
