In capping off a wonderful Blue and Gold weekend, the City of Hastings celebrated the wonderful career of longtime Hastings Civic Arena Manager, Coach, Parent, Fan, and Steward of Hastings Hockey, Jim “Sliv” McGree, by re-naming the East Rink of the Hastings Civic Arena, as “McGree East Rink”.
