Hastings Scouts Thank KDWA

Just before the snowstorm on Wednesday, the staff at KDWA had a visit from a young boy and his mother who are part of the Boy Scout program here in Hastings. They meet every other Monday at St. Phillips Lutheran Church. The Scouts of Hastings recently held a popcorn sale which resulted in almost 20,000 dollars being raised between all Hastings troops that will be used to fund upcoming projects such as Polar Club and other events these young entrepreneurs look forward to. Bryce Rumpza was excited to join his pack 444 in an ambitious sale and they wanted to thank KDWA for letting them get their message out about their fundraiser. Co-owner Barb Massman posed for a photo in the KDWA Studio and thanked the young man for doing such a good job.
