Hastings Tastings Totals Tallied

The 21st annual Hastings Tastings fundraiser kicked off MN FoodShare month on March 1st in a big way. They would like to thank everyone who participated and announce that due to the generosity of the restaurants and guests, $25,554 was raised at Hastings Tastings for the Hastings Family Service food shelf . All proceeds from the event will receive a proportionate match from MN FoodShare.Congratulations to the Peoples Choice Award Winners: Best Overall & Best Entre – Bella Vista, Best Appetizer – Green Mill, and Best Dessert – Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. A round of applause to the restaurants who shared their delicious food and also provided gift cards for the restaurant raffle, to HFS Board members for donating to the wall of wine, and to MGM Liquors for donating the 99 Bottles of Beer. The raffle winners were: Laurie Lorentz Pat Powers and a special thanks to the staff at Green Mill for going above and beyond year after year to assist with this event! Last of all, Hastings Family service acknowledges the huge team of volunteers to helped prepare, set up, tear down, haul items and worked so hard to make it a truly sucessful event.
