Hit And Run Bicyclist Critical

The Dakota County Sheriff’s office has posted a $1,000 reward for information that may lead to the identification of the driver and vehicle involved in a hit and run personal injury incident that occured early Tuesday evening on 250th Street West near Highview avenue in Eureka Township. The 45 year old Eagan resident, Bryan Joas, was riding a bicycle, and was hit by what is believed to be a white pickup truck with large tires and red highlights. Investigators suspect there may be damage to the front end of that vehicle. As of Thursday evening, Joas, remains in critical condition following the removal of his large intestine, and galbladder,multiple fractures in his back and kidneys which require the aid of continuous diaylsis.
