Hastings Police were called to the 300 block of Maple Street to assist a citizen who was said to have been suicidal. Hastings Police Chief Bryan Schaffer summarized the account.
As the Maple Street incident was in progress, Chief Schaffer also had a call in another part of town for the same kind of incident.
