As we reported last week, Washington County in Minnesota and Pierce County, Wisconsin have committed additional financial resources to complete the intercounty trail halted by bonding inaction by last year’s legislative session. During the 2017 State of the City Address given by Mayor Hicks, progress updates were given on the Greenway Trail in Dakota County as well as revealing a new goal in the connection of trail systems for pedestrians and bike traffic.
