After trailing 3-0 through the first five and a half innings, the Hastings Baseball Team couldn’t muster much off of University of Minnesota Recruit Ryan Duffy, but got to him in the sixth, for three runs to tie the game, 3-3, forcing extra innings, and some late-game heroics from Raider Senior Catcher Cole Benson. Benson’s bases-loaded single in the bottom of the ninth, lifted Hastings to their 2nd win of the year, and first at home, 4-3 in nine innings.
