Flood Run Takes To Road Saturday

The Flood run will be held on Saturday, begining in Lakeland, MN and traveling down Highway 61 on the Minnesota Side vearing off at Hwy 10 intersection to take the Wisconsin route on through Prescott on Highway 35, the Great River Road- or continuing down the Minnesota side to Winona on Highway 61. This 52nd annual Motorcycle Ride raises funds by selling a 10.00 wrist band that enter participants in drawing for many prizes provided by generous sponsors. Public safety officials have a word for other motorists on Saturday, please be aware of cyclists on area roads, provide extra space between vehicles and watch for large groups who are traveling together and may need extra time to navigate intersections. An expected 30,000 cyclists are expected to participate this year.
