For many, being a Pole Vaulter would be the last of the events to try, with the scare of flying though the air, and then free-falling from a pole down to the ground, the athletes that compete might be considered crazy. But at Hastings High School, Senior Matt Myers has made a pretty nice High School career doing so. Myers talked with KDWA’s Nick Tuckner about what it takes to be a vaulter, and how to succeed doing it.
