Hampton Accident On Hwy 56 Injures Three

An accident near the intersection of 280th Street and Hwy 56 in Hampton, on September 23rd, has injured three people. According to the MN State Patrol crash reporting website, a Toyota traveling west bound on 208th Street , driven by 42-year-old Roseville resident Elvis Fernando Gomez-Perez apparently pulled out in front of a tractor trailer traveling north bound on Highway 56. The driver of the tractor trailer, 50-year-old Seth K. Hanson, of Prescott, stated to officers that it appeared that Toyota stopped for a stop sign, then slowly pulled in front of the semi. The front of the semi and the driver side of the Toyota made contact. Gomez-Perez, and his passenger, 19-year-old Adelso Migdael Gomez-Perez, also of Roseville, were transported to Regions Hospital, and Hanson was transported to Regina Hospital, all with injuries that were said to be non-life threatening. The incident remains under investigation.
