The United States Marine Corps Recruiting Station Twin Cities invites local educators to one of two Educator Workshops in San Diego, California, in 2020 to increase the military knowledge of local educators so that they may in turn relay that information to their students. According to information released by Marine Corps Recruiting Station Twin Cities, the purpose of the trip is to clear up misconceptions that many educators have when it comes to military service. In USMC experience, many educators are hesitant to recommend or answer questions from their students about the military. The goal is to arm educators with the knowledge they need to inform their students about their post high school career options and the recruitment process. Trips are planned in February and August.
