On Sunday, June 14th, residents of the Hastings Veterans Home put up a display of flags at Con Agra Park in Hastings in honor of Flag Day. The display was placed in sight of travelers on Vermillion and 18th Streets. In conjunction with Flag Day, the Hastings Veterans Home is still seeking nominations for businesses and residences that properly display the American flag. Volunteer Service Coordinator Susan Register explains.
