On Thursday, The Hastings Fire and EMS Department, along with staff of Affinity Plus Credit Union in Hastings, gathered at the boat launch at Jaycee Park to introduce a new, inflatable boat for the Fire Department. Adam Layne, of Affinity Plus Credit Union commented on meeting the need of the Department.
Acting Fire Chief John Townsend commented on the fate of the old boat.
