A recent accident involving a pedestrian near the intersection of 5th and Ramsey Streets in Hastings resulted in a citation issued to 65-year-old Hastings resident Joshua Shaun McCofferty for failure to yield. According to the Hastings Police weekly accident report, McCofferty’s vehicle struck 41-year-old pedestrian Wendy Jean Bartz, of Hastings, who suffered what were termed minor injuries.
