Minnesota entered Phase 2 of its “Stay Safe MN” Plan on June 1, loosening restrictions for restaurants, salons, tattoo parlors and others. In this phase, businesses may reopen previously closed areas and serve customers onsite. According to press release issued by Dakota County, outdoor dining is now open if 6 feet of distance can be maintained between tables. Reservations are required, and masks are recommended for customers. Salons, barbershops, and tattoo parlors may reopen at 25 percent capacity and social distancing is required. All shoppers must make appointments and masks are encouraged. Indoor and outdoor services are allowed at 25 percent capacity with social distancing rules in place. For churches, to include weddings and funerals, indoor and outdoor services are allowed at 25 percent capacity with social distancing rules in place. Gyms, bowling alleys, and other fitness and entertainment studios remain closed. For complete details, visit DakotaCounty.us.
