The tragedy of George Floyd has once again brought the issue of ethnic disparity in America to the front page of today’s news. One aspect of the aftermath of Floyd’s death is the increasing cry for substantial change in our society. On Tuesday, a resident of Cottage Grove, who goes by the name of X Knight, held a vigil outside the Juvenile Detention Center at the Dakota County Government Center in Hastings. X Knight stated that change is needed now more than ever.
He also said the cause will continue.
X Knight states he has 13 years of experience in working at the detention center.
