As the COVID-19 situation continues to affect life in the Hastings and Prescott Area, residents got word from MN Governor Tim Walz initiating a mandate to wear masks while in public. Hastings Mayor Mary Fasbender weighed in on the issue.
Hastings Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau President Kristy Barse echoed some concerns of the community.
Many businesses, including Walmart and Target are already requiring patrons to wear masks while in the stores.
